This Week’s Reflection
You don’t have to rush
the woman you’re becoming.

There is a quiet pressure many women carry: the feeling that we should already know, already decide, already be on the other side of whatever is changing. We look at an unfinished chapter and mistake it for evidence that we are late.
But becoming has never followed a deadline. It moves more like a garden path—revealing itself a few steps at a time, curving when we expected a straight line, asking us to notice what is here before hurrying toward what comes next.
You are building something that needs time
Some changes arrive as decisions. Others arrive as a gradual recognition: this no longer fits; this matters more than I admitted; this part of me would like a voice. Those recognitions need room before they become action.
You are not behind. You are not late. You are building something that can only be built with time, choice by choice, breath by breath.
Rushing may create movement, but it rarely creates clarity. Clarity grows when you let yourself stay present long enough to hear the difference between urgency and truth.
A gentler pace is still a pace
Today, choose one small act that honors the woman you are becoming. Rest before answering. Say the honest thing softly. Leave ten empty minutes in your day. Let one decision remain open until your body feels settled enough to respond.
You do not have to force the next chapter. You can meet it with attention, tenderness, and trust.
A question for your journal
What am I allowing to unfold in its own time?
Let the answer arrive without editing it. Write for five quiet minutes, then notice the sentence that feels most true.
